As we all know, the world has been going through a challenging period due to the pandemic. Particularly, traveling has become quite difficult during this period. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been taking all necessary measures to ensure that air travel remains a safe mode of transportation and that you are protected when flying with us.
We understand your concerns about health and safety when traveling by plane. In this context, you can feel safe in terms of hygiene in the aircraft. We regularly disinfect our aircraft using manufacturer-certified cleaning products, particularly paying attention to highly contacted points.
Several new regulations have been implemented in the flight procedures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus all over the world. That's why we ensure that our passengers follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines for a safe flight experience. Our cabin crew uses personal protective equipment in the aircraft. Moreover, all our passengers are required to wear masks during their flights except for eating and drinking.
During the flight, the cabin air is refreshed by fresh air every two to three minutes. It is refreshed with clean and fresh air throughout the flight. It is sterile when it enters the cabinet since it also passes through HEPA filters that remove 99.9% of viruses, germs, and allergens. We take all precautions to ensure that you and our crew are protected throughout the flight. Therefore, you are obliged to comply with the measures taken. Below are some issues you should know before you travel:
If you are unable to wear a face mask during the flight for medical reasons, you must send an e-mail to info@flybluejetair.com at least 72 hours before the departure of your Fly Blue Jet Air flight. Please attach a signed and stamped health report issued by an authorized doctor stating that you cannot wear a face mask. Please also include your PNR code, contact details, and other relevant information. Keep the original health report with you as you will have to submit it while checking in for your flight.
Make sure you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 before your travel. You may undergo health screening at the airport to determine whether you have any symptoms of COVID-19. COVID-19 Symptoms may include fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing, as well as mild or severe respiratory diseases. Some people may experience the effects such as body aches, muscle pain, headache, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhea, nausea, or loss of smell and taste. Prepare a travel hygiene package. Keep your own travel hygiene package with you on your way to the airport. Do not forget to add a reliable hand sanitizer (less than 100 ml), antibacterial hand wipes, and enough masks for the entire journey. The use of gloves is optional. Children aged six and over are required to wear a mask.
Keep your mask on when boarding as well as inside the airport. Stay at arm's length from the flight crew while your boarding pass is being checked. Once your card is checked, pick up your baggage and move to the seat assigned to you.
You must remain on the seat assigned to you during the flight and keep your seat belt fastened. Limit your movements inside the aircraft to avoid close contact with the crew and other passengers. It is forbidden to enter the kitchen area. If you need to attract the attention of the cabin attendant, press the call button.
If you need to use the toilet, only use the designated toilet when there is no queue. Economy class passengers are required to use the toilets at the back of the aircraft while the business class passengers are required to use the toilet in front of the aircraft.
Wear your mask throughout the flight and try to disinfect your hands regularly. When you need to sneeze or cough, cover your mouth with a tissue or inside of your elbow by tilting your head forward. Always follow the instructions of our cabin crews and follow the requests regarding measuring your temperature at the destination of your journey or filling out the forms requested by the authorities.
If you feel unwell or have difficulty breathing at any time during the flight, you should inform immediately and follow the instructions given.
Once the flight is over, take your hand baggage and keep your mask on as you leave the plane. In case of congestion in the corridor, sit down until it becomes easy to leave the plane and keep a safe distance from other passengers.
A health screening (including a fever test) can be conducted once you arrive at your destination. You may also be asked to submit documents showing that you are negative for COVID-19. Although it varies from country to country, additional measures may be applied. You should continue to wear your mask and keep your social distance when passing through security and immigration points.
If you transfer to another plane and you do not have a boarding pass, you need to go to the transfer desk. Continue to wear your mask while waiting for your luggage and keep your social distance to avoid crowds.
