Prohibited Substances

You are not allowed to take some items with you during Fly Blue Jet Air flights for the safety of yourself and other passengers. Items that can be carried in checked baggage are restricted in accordance with the legal regulations applicable in the countries where the flight takes place, the decisions of the civil aviation authorities, IATA standards, or the conditions specified in the General Rules.

Baggage containing hazardous substances, which are harmful to health and safety during transport by air, must be declared in accordance with international and national regulations and clearly stated to the carrier that it contains hazardous substances.

It is strictly forbidden to carry all kinds of knives, penknives, scissors, razors, sharp, piercing, and injurious objects such as skewers in "Hand Baggage". These items can only be transported in the "Checked Baggage". If such items are detected during pre-flight checks, they may be retained by security guards and not returned to you.

Fly Blue Jet Air assumes no responsibility for the loss or seizure of these items for the specified reasons.

Sharp objects in the checked baggage must be safely and securely packaged in order to prevent damage to the staff and other officials performing baggage control. There are restrictions on all kinds of weapons and weapon components, spike-edged or sharp-edged objects, and substances that threaten human health and the safety or security of the aircraft and the people in it.

Also, for the health of the flight crew, restrictions are applied regarding the transportation of the flammable, combustible, explosive substances, chemical and toxic substances, and liquid-gel products that pose a risk to the health of the flight crew, in the safe areas within the airport, in the aircraft, and the checked baggage.

Electronic devices that can be carried with the passenger (camera, mobile phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) and have lithium-ion batteries with an upper limit of 100 W or lithium metal batteries with a lithium metal content of 2 grams or less are accepted for flight as hand baggage. Spare lithium metal or lithium-ion batteries for portable electronic devices or telephones or electronic devices may only be carried in hand baggage by the passenger in the cabin.

In case it is handed over as checked baggage, the battery must be removed before handing over and carried in the cabin under the supervision of the passenger. Such restrictions may be due to international and national legal regulations, international standards, and the carrier's rules for ensuring flight safety and security.
