Entebbe

Entebbe, one of the large cities of Uganda, is located on the northern shore of Lake Victoria and 38 km south of Kampala. Entebbe is a great spot both as a center for international travelers and as a popular weekend getaway for locals. With relatively constant temperature and humidity throughout the year, Entebbe has a tropical rainforest climate.

There are no distinct seasons, as the temperature is usually between 17°C and 27°C. However, there is significantly more rain in some months compared to others. Entebbe offers numerous activities and attraction centers for travelers on safari or gorilla trekking trips. Entebbe is located near the Wildlife Education Center, as well as the Uganda Reptile Village, and Entebbe Golf Club.

The Mabamba Swamps, which hosts countless waterfowl and other creatures, is a great spot for birdwatchers. Fishing and boat trips on Lake Victoria and ferry trips to the Isles of Ssese, which offers both diverse wildlife terrains and modern resort hotels, are popular activities.
